Step into the dazzling world of stained glass with our Beginner’s Stained Glass Suncatcher Class—a hands on experience where you’ll craft your very own burst of brilliance! You’ll assemble pre-cut glass, shaping it with precision, and soldering it into a stunning suncatcher that dances with light. No experience needed—just a spark of curiosity and a need to make something extraordinary. By the end, you’ll hold up a kaleidoscope of color made with your very own hands! This class is beginner friendly, totally addictive, and is your chance to shine—don’t let this opportunity pass you by! THE CLASS WILL SUPPLY: * Glass : Choose from a variety of colored glass sheets and scraps for your projects. Stained glass sheets are available in various textures and opacities. * Copper Foil Tape: This tape is used to wrap the edges of each glass piece, creating a smooth surface for soldering. * Soldering Iron: You'll need a soldering iron, solder, and soldering flux to join the copper foil-wrapped glass pieces together securely. * Pattern: Start with simple patterns designed for beginners. If you come in with more experience, you can explore more complex designs. * Grinder: A tool use for shaping the glass. We also supply hand glass grinders. * Chain and jump rings. We also supply air cleaners to suck up the solder smoke. We also have soldering iron tip cleaners. * Delicious beverages and snacks! YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN Safety Gear: Safety glasses and gloves are crucial to protect yourself from glass shards and soldering hazards (We will have some here for purchase.) We do have for sale safety glasses and medium sized gloves for $5.00. The price of the class is $95.00, which we can split into two payments if you like. We do need a deposit because of all the supplies that are needed for the class. There are no refunds but if you need to cancel, we will work with you to reschedule your class so it will always be a win, win. We accept card, cash and check!
