Week 5: Miniature Clay Sculptures & Small Pottery August 10–13 In this hands-on week, students will explore the fun world of small-scale clay work. They’ll learn how to create miniature clay sculptures and small pottery pieces using techniques like pinch pots, coiling, and sculpting. Kids and teens will develop fine motor skills, patience, and attention to detail while making unique pieces they can take home and keep. This week is perfect for young artists who enjoy working with their hands and want to create something special and personal. They’ll also learn proper clay handling and glazing techniques so their creations come out beautifully. We serve good, nutritious snacks every day to keep everyone energized while they create.
