Pastel & Charcoal Discovery Week TWO July 20–23 2026 Get ready to explore the rich and expressive world of dry media! In this exciting week, kids and teens will work with soft pastels, oil pastels, and charcoal. They’ll learn how to properly use blenders, stumps, and tortillons to create smooth shading, beautiful textures, and professional-looking artwork. Students will also build basic drawing skills while discovering how to bring depth and dimension to their creations. It’s a fantastic week for anyone who loves to draw or wants to try something new and tactile. Expect lots of fun, hands-on learning, and plenty of “wow” moments as colors and textures come to life on paper. We’ll also serve good, nutritious snacks every day to keep everyone energized and happy while they create. Whether your child is new to art or already loves drawing, this week is a wonderful opportunity to build skills and confidence in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
