This is a beginner class in the art of alcohol ink. We will cover supplies, set up, safety and how to seal when finished. We will also seal whatever you will be taking home. Explore limitless colors by creating your own palette. Integrate new substrates, new tools, along with mixatives, metallics and solutions. We will play through air, lift, resist, texture. Extend your work through mixed media. Learn to influence your art with the unique medium of alcohol ink. This is more of a technique-based class, not a project-based class. Lots of Play time with the materials provided. The idea is that you are able to go and create endless projects for yourself and others! You will be able to try on Photo paper, yupo paper, tile and acrylic glass. Each give a totally different look. You will find you favorite. You will be able to take home all that you make.
